Game Idea: Hide your porn (Classic edition)

The Premise:

Having your own personal space means that we tend to accumulate things that pique our interest. Games, Toys, Movies, everything gets littered around our space because we tend to use them. But what about the things that embarrass us? When guests come over, then we start scrambling for places to hide our little secrets in hopes that they won’t embarrass us to people we’d rather not have knowing.

But in the age of the computer and online pornography, we don’t have hard copies lying around unless we prefer living in the stone-age with a dvd/vhs remote in our offhand instead of a mouse. Because of this, let’s roll the clock back to, say, 1998. If you want a video of 2 fine ladies and a donkey, or men with frozen bananas, you need to have a hard copy of it. But of course, you don’t want any of these things being found.

This might even be more embarrassing. Nickelback vs Donkey Porn. tough choice.

The Game:

Pregame

After a few months of being lax about your cleaning habits about your room/apartment/house, you have guests coming over unexpectedly. You only have a small window of time to hide everything that your don’t want found to keep your dignity intact.

Phase 1 (Hide)

You have a countdown to find and hide your belongings. You have your living space to look through to find ANYTHING that could be considered embarrassing. Condoms, Dildo, Cock Ring, Videos, Nudie-Mags, you name it. You have to then find places to hide these objects inconspicuously. Dildo in a vase, magazines in a backpack, condoms in a pile of clothes, DVDs under the bed. But be careful not to have things exposed or in possible vantage because the more objects that the guests find, the more your “embarrassment” goes up and you rating goes down.

Nobody will ever want to watch... LiarLiar? But that movie wasn't terrible, right?

Phase 2 (Seek)

The guests have arrived after you’ve been busy being creative in hiding the pornos. You all conversate, but your guests move around a lot for their various reasons. Someone drops their phone, another needs to go to the bathroom, a third was throwing a ball and it goes behind the TV. So depending on where you hid what you didn’t want found, there is a chance of them finding it.

The Difficulty:

The Size of the Living Space

Ranging from a small studio apartment to a 3 bed-room house, you will have the chance to hide your porn in a variety of living arrangements. But the bigger isn’t always better since you have to find all of your porn before you can hide them and running takes time. The feasible locations to hide in each living arrangement is also an issue because a more spacious house could have less hiding areas.

The Timing

Guests could take as long as 15 minutes to drive to your house, or they could be walking from around the block. The less time you have, the harder it will be to hide your porn or be creative in doing so. Who knows, being less creative will add to the hilarity when you miss something hiding things or put them in ridiculous locations.

Too much Porn

You have just so much filth laying around that it gets harder and harder to find useful hiding places, so now you hedge your bets. The game is now how little embarrassment can I walk away with.

So many Guests, Get Out!

The more guests you have, the more likely that things will be found, similar to the “Too much Porn” category, it’s not a matter of “if they find something,” but “what will they find.”

Let me know what you guys think, feel free to steal this idea and run with it. It might be a fun Oculus game. The anxiety alone would have me dying of laughter.
